Handmade Headpiece by Sumico Photography

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I love making things for my photography sessions.

I like to make my photography to be a fashion magazine style and I believe that some headpieces make women look like models.

One of my favourite craft or art materials is paper.  I enjoy watching just flat papers transform to 3D and something beautiful & magical.  I love making flowers with papers.

I bought the base of this fascinator from a 2 dollar shop and it cost me around $5. It has feathers and small flowers.  I made a large white rose with crepe paper and attached it to the fascinator I bought. This fascinator suits to anybody in different age groups which you can find below.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]High School Senior Photography Brisbane Gold Coast[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Portrait of Woman by Sumico Photography[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Lady with a white fascinator by Sumico Photography[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][vc_column_text]Here are some more fascinators and headpieces which I made and they are available for portrait sessions.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”1512″ css_animation=”fadeInLeft” border_color=”grey” img_link_target=”_self” title=”Red Handmade Headpiece” img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”1522″ css_animation=”fadeInDown” border_color=”grey” img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”full” title=”Black Ribbon Headpiece”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”1525″ border_color=”grey” img_link_target=”_self” title=”Peacock Feather Headpiece” css_animation=”fadeInLeft” img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_single_image image=”1305″ border_color=”grey” img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1561″ border_color=”grey” img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1421″ border_color=”grey” img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Tissue Paper Flowers for Photography

Tissue Flowers

Paper FlowersA creative hobby I enjoy is making tissue paper flowers of various designs and in all the colours of the rainbow.

I use these tissue flowers as backdrops in photos and as hair ornaments and have also tried to make a headband from them.

One day I would like to make lots and lots of paper flowers in many different colours, enough to make a full backdrop.

On my pinterest board is a collection of various ways to make different kinds of paper flowers:

I must admit that I did not follow the instructions found on that page for the flowers in these photos but instead I used the method I remembered from when I was a child in Japan. We would make the flower pom poms to celebrate special occasions such as graduations, the first day school ceremony, etc.

Whereas today, I use these paper flowers for hair ornaments and for backgrounds for my photography.
